Hi there, I'm James Cullop, a wedding and family photographer based in Louisville, Kentucky. I specialize in capturing light, airy, and dreamy images using a photojournalistic/candid approach that allows me to capture the real emotions and personalities of the couple and their guests. While I always had “The photography bug”, I took a hiatus after college to find a career and family. I continued to dabble and then came the digital age. I now had instant access to my images and the ability to create exactly what I envisioned.
Whether I’m capturing a scene in nature, a special moment between two people or preserving a family memory, photography relaxes me and being able to share those moments with others is rewarding.
My wife and I love to travel and explore places we’ve never been. The bucket list keeps getting longer. We may be camping, hiking in the mountains, or taking in the fresh breeze of one of our nation’s wonderful shorelines, there are photo ops every where we go. The ability to enjoy our hobbies and have those moments preserved for us to look back on is amazing. Not only do we get to enjoy them, but through my photography, I’m also able to share some of the amazing sights with others to enjoy as well.
